ELEVATOR is a silent short film I made for my introductory film class at Emerson. The story is about a guy who is living life simply by going through the motions. His trips on the elevator serve as a lens through which he sees life happening around him too afraid to actively participate in it.

I approached this project with the idea that if this film was shown in theatres, how would I promote it? Specifically what college students would respond to. I focused on how I could use the movie's promotion as an extension of the movie's themes; relationships, love, loneliness, youth, and chance. The best way I did this was by making things engaging to embody the very message of the film; be present with your surroundings.
